Meatless Mondays in (May)

For one month (first May, then March), local restaurants offered special deals on meatless menu items to help raise awareness of the environmental benefits of eating less meat. Although initially skeptical, community members eventually understood: This wasn’t about giving up beloved bacon forever! Just one day a month (or week).
